I only started with digital planning this year and I am LOVING this planner so far! For the past years, I have been using a physical planner: the Kokuyo Jibun Techo (JT), a Japanese weekly planner with a vertical layout. But for this year, I wanted to go green—plus I needed to buy an iPad for school—so digital planning seemed to be a good option. Only problem is that I found it hard to look for a digital planner that could give me the same experience I had with the JT…or should I say, meet the needs I have for a planner which JT was able to fulfill. That is until I saw this one from DigiSparkles. I know it’s Hobonichi Cousin-inspired, but for some reason, it feels like the JT for me.

So far, after setting up the planner for the year, here’s what I like about it:
-Everything is on (perfectly light) grid paper! (except the last few pages for doodling)…this is something I really like because I just can’t write straight and neatly without the grid.
-It has just the right number of links. It’s not too busy, just right for you to be able to move around easily but not really get lost.
-Of course I love that it has a vertical weekly view which is exactly what I’m looking for. I like seeing my activities for the whole week. Same as when I was using the JT, I don’t really follow the timestamps. Instead, I create my own subsections for each day where I write important events, tasks to complete and other notes.
-One thing I like about this planner more than the JT is the option to add a daily page for a specific date–just in case I need one…maybe for days with special projects…or really busy days. Or days where you need to record memories or photos. I am not used to having a daily page but am looking forward to using this someday.
-It has extra linked sections that you can use for the extras. I personally use it for habit trackers, bill trackers, lists, and notes. Am looking forward to planner inserts in the future!
    -Stickers are <3!!!

Overall, I give this planner 5 stars. Big bonus is that Digisparkles is such an angel!!!

    BUY THIS PLANNER! 😀
